Having a passion for inspiring others and enjoying new experiences, Julie pursued a varied career as a “workplace gypsy” spending time in small business and program development, marketing; funeral home management and grief counseling, high-tech sales, and music promotions with bands such No Doubt, Ice Cube, Cadillac Tramps and more. Gleaning an abundance of personal and professional awareness, Julie directed these insights into her own business. Finding the freedom of being an entrepreneur a natural outlet for the creative influence of her chaotic energy, Julie founded AgeLink Intergenerational Programs in 1996 and Mommy Hullabaloo in 2000. (The presence of both businesses is very evident in Julie’s products and programs.) In 2007, Julie formed both Julie Watson Smith International and, parent company, Inspired Imaginations as her commitment to inspiring parent-entrepreneurs and their families to create and empower the inspired lives of their dreams. Her steadfast commitment led her to tap into a unique combination of character, creativity and connections which is now the foundation of her robust coaching programs and the YES! Your Empowerment Systems, a series of hands-on, home-study enhancement products. Today, Julie reaches thousands of entrepreneurs through her weekly e-zine, Your Empowered Source, as well as through her products, coaching programs and events. With extensive knowledge in business strategies and universal principles, Julie’s student’s share that their biggest shifts come from her philosophy of “aligning your family and business for an truly amazing life™.” This, Julie reveals, is often the springboard into your greatest purpose, potential, and prosperity. A dynamic and interactive speaker, Julie enjoys sharing her message with global audiences on topics such: aligning family and business for ultimate success, moving from “how” to “now”, raising profitable businesses and prosperous families; empowering core character, creativity and connections; goal management/achievement for children, adults and parent-entrepreneurs; and much more Also a frequent columnist and award-winning author, Julie’s writing has been heralded as the perfect blend of heart and humor. Her first book, Mommyhood Diaries: Living the Chaos One Day at a Time (2005, Wyatt MacKenzie Publishing) received the Fresh Voices 2006 Book of the Year Award. She has also contributed to other books, such as A Book Is Born and the Business Mom Guidebook. She has been featured and quoted in numerous electronic and print mediums including the nationally syndicated column, Getting Organized as well as Parenting and Working Mother magazines. A recognized life empowerment expert, she is also a frequent radio and television guest including appearances on FOX Good Morning Colorado, KUSI San Diego and The Denver Channel, NBC’s Denver affiliate. Julie, born near the Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, but has since lived in throughout Ohio, Colorado, Wyoming, Arizona, Nevada, and Southern California (She has lived in over 45 different homes!).
